Privacy Policy

Plain-English summary. We collect only what we need to run a directory: contact info you submit, payment info advisors submit through Stripe, and basic site analytics. We do not sell or share your data with anyone other than the advisor you choose to contact, the service providers we use to run the site, or as legally required.

1. Who we are

Arizona Fee Only ("we," "us," the "Site") is an online directory of fee-only fiduciary financial advisors operated at arizonafeeonly.org. Arizona Fee Only is a separate business from any advisor listed in the directory, including Singh PWM LLC. See our about page for full founder disclosure.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information consumers submit

When you contact an advisor through the Site, we collect:

  • Your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number and city
  • The message you write to the advisor and the advisor profile you chose to contact
  • A timestamped record that you provided consent to share these details with the advisor

2.2 Information advisors submit

When advisors sign up to be listed in the directory, we collect:

  • Name, firm name, work email, phone (optional), city, ZIP (optional), bio, photo URL (optional)
  • Specialties, designations, securities and insurance licenses, fee structure, and minimum portfolio (optional)
  • Subscription tier and the fee-only fiduciary attestation
  • Payment processing information that goes directly to Stripe (we do not store card numbers or full bank details ourselves)

2.3 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect:

  • Log and device data (IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, timestamps)
  • Aggregated, privacy-preserving site analytics (page views, session duration, performance metrics) via Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Route consumer inquiries to the advisor you chose to contact
  • Operate the directory (create and update advisor profiles, process subscription payments through Stripe, send signup and billing confirmations)
  • Verify that listed advisors meet the directory's fee-only and fiduciary requirements
  • Improve the Site (understand which pages are useful, fix bugs, improve performance)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

4. How we share information

We share information in these specific cases and not otherwise:

  • With the advisor you contact. When you submit a lead through an advisor's profile, your contact information and message are sent only to that advisor's email address. We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share leads with anyone other than the advisor you chose.
  • With service providers. We use third parties to host the Site (Vercel), store advisor and lead data (Supabase), process payments (Stripe), send transactional email (an SMTP provider, currently configurable), and provide privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel). Each is contractually limited to the functions we ask them to perform.
  • If required by law. We may share information to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation.

We do not accept referral fees from advisors for the leads they receive through the directory, and we do not sell consumer or advisor information to anyone for any purpose.

5. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses essential cookies required for the Site to function (for example, to keep an advisor's session active in the future advisor dashboard). Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which we use for aggregated traffic and performance measurement, do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.

6. Data retention

  • Lead submissions are retained for as long as the advisor account they were sent to remains active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping.
  • Advisor profiles are retained while the subscription is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation to support reinstatement and required record-keeping.
  • Payment records follow Stripe's retention and the relevant tax record-keeping requirements.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Colorado Privacy Act, or the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information; the right to opt out of certain processing; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

8. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit (TLS) and at rest (encrypted database storage). No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site for a reasonable period before they take effect.
